GAGNVIST 2025
Hagstofa Íslands í samstarfi við EuroCC2 Iceland, Háskóla Íslands og Miðstöð stafrænnar nýsköpunar efnir til ráðstefnu um þróun íslenska gagnavistkerfisins fimmtudaginn 27.nóvember 2025.
Markmið ráðstefnunnar er að kynna hin gríðarlegu tækifæri til verðmætasköpunar sem liggja í bættu aðgengi að gögnum og hagnýtingu gervigreindar við nýtingu þeirra.
Meginþema GAGNVIST var að leiða saman haghafa innan íslenska gagnavistkerfisins, sérstaklega þá sem safna og miðla virðisaukandi gögnum og notendur þessara gagna, bæði opinbera aðila og fyrirtæki.
Í tengslum við ráðstefnuna verður haldið gagnaþon þar sem verkefnið er að hagnýta gervigreind við úrvinnslu virðisaukandi gagna. Gagnaþonið fer fram dagana 7.-9. nóvember.

Statistics Iceland, in collaboration with EuroCC2 Iceland, the University of Iceland and the Digital Innovation Center, is organizing a conference on the development of the Icelandic Data Ecosystem on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
The aim of the conference is to highlight the tremendous opportunities for value creation that lie in improved access to data and the use of artificial intelligence in applying them.
The main theme of GAGNVIST is to bring together stakeholders within the Icelandic data ecosystem—especially those who collect and disseminate value-adding data—and the users of this data, both public bodies and companies.
In connection with the conference, a hackathon will be held where the task will be to apply artificial intelligence in the processing of value-adding data. The hackathon will take place November 7–9.
